Teaching Parish

At Luther Seminary

Students working toward an M.Div. degree from Luther Seminary are required to participate in the Teaching Parish program for four semesters. This is usually accomplished during the junior and middler years of study.

The student will attend a local parish as a member of that congregation. Students will complete projects that include regular contact with the leadership of their chosen parish and with Luther Seminary faculty.
