In addition to PLTS and Luther Seminary's offerings, special travel/study seminars are offered year round by the Center for Global Education at Augsburg College. Students may visit and study in such places as South Africa, Zimbabwe, Mexico, and Central America. Seminars are designed so that students learn directly from the people visited and experience face-to-face encounters with persons from all segments of society. These one- to three-week seminars seek to expand the worldview of the student and deepen the understanding of cultural and global issues that confront the church.

Costs vary according to the destination and length of each seminar. Some offerings fulfill Cross Cultural Experience course requirements. For more information, contact Rod Maeker or the Center for Global Education at (612) 330-1159.
